The back side seams are partially elasticated - around three-quarters of the way, not reaching the button stand - giving the shirt shape and definition without pulling it into a fitted silhouette. It's made in Cape Town, South Africa, by a small all-female team, in a limited run.

The elastication runs partway along the back side seams, stopping short of the button stand, so it shapes rather than clings - not fitted, not meant to be worn tucked in.

The back carries a small loop tab below the collar, finished with the same red thread as the last button. The collar and full button-front keep it grounded, and the cap sleeve keeps it easy through the shoulder.
